When a student completes their continuing education, the NMLS Approved Course Provider records a candidate’s or licensee’s SAFE-required education hours to the NMLS through credit banking. Currently, the fee is $1.50 per credit hour, a non-refundable credit banking fee paid when the course roster is uploaded to the NMLS. A course provider has seven days from class completion to report to the NMLS.
