20-hour SAFE Comprehensive PE - Pathway to Success | Webinar/Classroom Final Examination
Per NMLS requirements, to earn credit for the 20 Hour SAFE Comprehensive Program, students must pass a course final exam. The exam must be completed no later than the fifth day following the completion of the class. The exact time will appear in their Student Portal in the Exams section.
When logging into their Student Portal, will click “Take Exam” to get started:
It is required for a student to pass a course final exam with a required passing score of 70% or higher. There are 30 multiple-choice questions.
While in the exam, the student can quit the exam at any time. If a student quits the exam and answers questions before leaving, this will be saved.
Once all questions are answered, the system will mention this and allow students to review their responses. Once all the questions are reviewed, click “Submit Exam” to finalize and submit the exam.
Once submitted, the results will display their score and if they passed or failed. A failing score will advise the student they are permitted one retake.
If a student failed, they would have access to their retake immediately. Before proceeding, it is recommended to review the course material as they are only permitted one retake. This information is mentioned after clicking the “Important Info” messaging under their failed score as well:
Once the student feels ready, they can click “Take Exam” next to their retake. Doing so will provide them with course instructions, and similar notifications will display with the first attempt. Once the student submits their exam for the retake, they will be provided with their exam results.
If they fail the second time, the student will receive instructions stating that they failed the retake final exam and to call the school for further assistance. Customer Service can discuss re-enrollment options.
