Residential Leasing Agent Continuing Education Requirements
Residential Leasing Agents renewing their license for the first time are exempt from continuing education requirements but must still renew their license with IDFPR. Licensees exempt include anyone licensed during the current renewal and three months before the current renewal.
Residential Leasing Agents who are not in their first renewal must complete 8-hours of continuing education before the renewal deadline. Information on the 8-hour Residential Leasing Agent Core continuing education course is available here.
Broker Continuing Education Requirements
Brokers renewing their license for the first time must complete a 45-hour Post-License course before the license renewal deadline. Information on the 45-hour Post-License course is available here.
Brokers who are not in their first renewal must complete 12-hours of Core & Elective continuing education before the license renewal deadline. Information on our 12-hour continuing education courses and packages is available here.
Managing Broker Continuing Education Requirements
Managing Brokers are required to complete 24-hours of continuing education. This must include 12-hours of Core & Elective continuing education and 12-hours of Broker Management continuing education before the license renewal deadline.
Managing Brokers in their first renewal are exempt from Broker Management CE. They only require 12-hours of Core & Elective continuing education.
